3 and a bit days till an entire week with Adrian :)

So this weekend was fanfuckintastic.

Adrians flight got in on time and at 7pm, way earlier than usual flights, so there was a little more time.
Saturday there was dinner at the parentals, which inculded Dad's home made port, very, very, NICE.
Sunday saw Adrian departing at 7pm, and me attending Joel's Birthday dinner at Hog's Breath. That was rather enjoyable, others there inculded, Nita, Dave, John, Jim (AKA Larry) Joey, Simon, Thug, myself and of course Joel.

Just have to make it through this week..............................

2 Days till Adrian is here for the weekend

7 Days till he's here for a WEEK!!

Thats right people I get Adrian for and entire week. He managed to get leave from the 2 till the 12 of June, so I in turn got time off from my job, oddly enough the same dates (what a coincidence :P)
So far we have planned a trip to freycinet stayin at a Spa Suite (which I gotta book this weekend) we'll be up there few a couple of days. Nothing else is planned as yet, but the great thing about being on holidays is that you can do what you want when you want.

Alas Miss Picard can not go on holiday with us, so she will be attending her own holiday at mum's helping Monty, Pye, and Carlo trash the dinning room. Should prove to be a rather interesting few days at the parentals with 4 birds takin over the house.

4 Days till Adrian gets here

So this weekend just gone prove to be rather average.

Friday night saw me at the movies with Jackie, Jim and Sarah (one of their house mates she works with sperm!!) no really she does, she gets couples preggers. I kid you not.
Anywho, we saw The Da Vinci Code. 2 and a half hours later my butt was numb and I was tired, but it was a good movie, (no I have not read the book, I own the book but that's as far as I got) Saw some really good previews for a change as well, I forsee that there will be many a trip to the cinema in my future.

Went to Joey's on Saturday Night, to celebrate her Birthday. Enjoyable fun was had, drunken antics were done, (for a change I was the sober one!!) Much wine was spilt on Joey's carpet, and of course it was Red Wine. There was also a rather decent amount of wine spilt on Siana.
I was caught up on the progress of Siana and Dan's wedding preparations. Also saw Siana's dress design, Looks Fab!!

Joey also made dinner, though Siana and I were the only ones that actually turned up in time for that. Brian was also there, and as he was stayin at Joey's it was a given that he was there on time for dinner! Which was by the way Chicken Pot Pie, and it was great, Nicely done Joey :P

So all in all a rather entertaining evening that was supposed to have movie watching, but alas once the wine started flowing that idea went right out the window.

Sunday was really quiet, spent most of in on the couch once I finally made it outta bed around 10.30 I really hate being sick. Picard was an angel, she spent most of the day snuggled under my chin, givin my kisses and chatterin quietly. I continued my Angel watchin, now I am up to season 3. Angel said one of my fave quotes while I was watchin yesterday....................................................

Well I got the news from Adrian lastnight, he's comin to visit next weekend. (same weekend as Joel's Birthday thingo)

Quiet Weekend

Adrian is now officially in Sydney, which means I am now officially planning a trip to....................................................................................... Yup you guessed it SYDNEY.

Adrian and I have been together for 4 months and 11 days!!

Well the weekend has come and gone, seems that it is never long enough anymore.
Saturday was an interesting and fun day. Started with a shopping trip into town with mum, (was her birthday on Friday)
Followed by dinner at the parentals to celebrate said birthday and mother's day (which was the sunday)
Now normally the dinner conversation begins somewhat civil and ends up in the gutter in some way shape or form but................................this time dinner was served a little late, as Jim (Sisters husband to be) didn't finish work till later) anywho some of us were gathered around the table, Anthony (brother) was 'carving' the roast and mother was 'supervising' and well seeing as there was no food to subdue the filthy conversation it started before the meal even made it to the table, now people that has got to be some kind of record! I was rather impressed. WELL DONE EVERYONE!! Stars across the board.

Sunday was rather uneventful, spent an hour or so at the gym, then proceeded to watch the Angel series so far I am up to Season 1 disk 5. (hey gimme a break only started at 2pm sunday :P)

oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM for Friday 12 May (yes Jim and Mum have the same birthday!!)

Oh yeah I also got a 'sock' for my phone, to keep it warm on those long, cold winter nights!!

So nothing much has happen in the world of Mel this week.
Saturday will see me at the parentals for family stuffs.

Though starting next week thing should pick up; on the 16th it's Joey's Birthday. The 29th will see me celebrating Joel's Birthday, as far as I know he has something arranged for the weekend of the 27th/28th.

If by some chance Adrian is able to come down that weekend, you are just going to have to share me :P
So over the next two weeks there will be drinks aplenty and celebrations to boot. More on those when they happen.

BONORONG WILDLIFE CENTRE

What does a Mel do when she's bored, sad and alone?

The best thing was the fact that I got there at 9am, I was the only one there, I had the entire park to myself.

Whatta ya know its Monday again :(

Well the weekend is over and I really wish that it wasn't

FRIDAY
Thug's gathering was enjoyable, Vodka and Red Bull was had, and also Sambucca was had. Due to the taking of pain killers eariler on friday to numb the pain of the spot removal (see end of post for details) I was rather well 'happy' and a good time was had. That was until we got home and settled in for bed, and then it was all over red rover, no sleep and a very upset tummy that was payin me back for mixin alcohol and drugs (you'd think that i'd have learnt my lesson by now, but it seems NOT!!)

SATURDAY
After getting outta bed late in the morning, (wink, wink) there was a trip to Collinsvale to see Adrian's family, then it was off to Kerryne and Robs engagement party. Was a nice afternoon/evening. Left there at about 8pm, my stomach was still pissed at me from friday nights adventures.

SUNDAY
Woke up for breakfast, then it was back to bed till noonish, when lunch had and a movie, Serenity was watched. Not a bad movie really enjoyed it.
Then all to soon it was time to drive to the airport and watch as Jetstar took Adrian back to Victoria :(

Adrian moves to Sydney on the 12th. I have already looked at ticket prices for me to travel to Sydney, under $200.00 return!!
Not sure when we'll be seeing each other next, gotta wait and see how things are in Sydney before we can make any plans.

I predict that I'll be somewhat edgy and sad within 11 days, with the possiblity of wanting to cause physical damage!! But only a little bit :P
PEOPLE YOU"VE BEEN WARNED

SPOT REMOVAL
On Wednesday I had 1 of 2 moles removed. This one was located on my right arm right in the elbow joint. To remove this little spot, they used what one can only describe as an intrument that resembeled a cheese slicer. After injecting a local numbing agent they proceeded to slice the mole until it was removed. The end result was the mole gone but a hole in my arm that is almost twice the size that the mole was, that is refusing to heal and is collecting all kinds of fluff and god only knows what else.
The second mole was located on my left sholder. This was removed it an instrument that resembeld an apple corer. Once again after a local numbing agent was injected they placed the 'apple corer' over the spot, pushed down and twisted, as they twisted it cut into the skin and removed the mole. This way was much more nicer and is almost healed. Now this is the kicker, once both were removed they had to stop the bleeding, but why use stitches or a bandaid when you can BURN MY SKIN. Yes they purposly burnt me by useing some machine that effectivly had the same result as if you had just burnt yourself on a grill. Nothing like the smell of charred burnt skin to put you off your lunch. FANTASTIC
Everything was going fine untill the nice numbing stuff wore off then I felt like I had been sliced with a cheese slicer and cored with an apple corer. Funny that huh.

Today my shoulder is fine, little itchy but good. My arm on the other hand (no pun intended) is very sore and not healing well at all. OUCH. Doesn't look all that great either.
