Another Fun Filled Weekend ahead

Plans for this weekend
Tonight there is a party at Thug's no particular reason, just to get drunk and have fun.
Saturday arvo there is Kerryne and Rob's Engagement party.
Sunday there is nothing planned at this stage. A full and detailed post will be submitted to fill you all in on the events that put together my weekend. I may even take my camera and be nice enough to post some pics. I say MAYBE!!

The House of Fog and Fog

2 Days to go

Well this morning I awoke to fog as far as the eye could see. Its mornings like these that I can glad that I drive!!

Yesterday I managed to get the car detailed, though now I can see all the dents, scratches and chips in the window and bosy of the car. I knew there was a reason i never washed my car, the dirt hides all the nastys. *shrugs

I get to see Adrian in 63 hours!! I CANT WAIT

Uneventful Weekend

4 Days to go

Nothing exciting happend this weekend, stayed in and gave Picard some quality time, lots of hugs and scritches.

I did however take a trip to the DVD lending library of Joel, and borrowed a few flicks, Aeon Flux, Harts War, Capote and Domino.

Also made it to the gym for a 'go hard or go home' workout.
Tomorrow is a public holiday (ANZAC DAY) again nothing exciting planned, but i will be cleaning the car, washing and vaccuming that sorta crap, it REALLY needs doing!

It is a Cuban Tody and is endemic to Cuba, so it looks as though there is a trip to Cuba in my future............ALL RIGHT CUBA!!! (get the movie reference Joel?)

Easter Long Weekend

Umm let's see, where to start. At the begining I suppose;

Thursday Night;
Picked Adrian up form the airport.
Give Adrian his surprise................................a slab of Coronas, and a 6 pack of Stella (what were you filthy buggers thinkin?)

Good Friday;
Started with a trip to Austins Ferry to Collect Joel, then onto Joey's for an Easter Bun morning tea/lunch, caught up with Joel, Anita, Dave, Joey and Brian (Joey's new fella!) There was warm buns, hot steaming muffins, foil egg wrapper throwing, chocolate egg throwing, easter egg eating, DvD stealing, and coffee. All this concluded at 2pm ish.
After dropping Joel home it was back to my place.

Watched a few movies, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and The Cave. I then proceeded to prepare dinner!! Sweet and Sour Chicken, vegies and Rice.

Saturday;
Ahh lets see, we shall skip the morning and start at noon :P went into town to purchase a beanie, came back to Glenorchy for lunch, then headed to the parentals for pre planned boat stuffs with the newly acquired beanie!!
The boat in question was made by Dad, complete with, an eski storage device, comfort zones for fishing, room for enough beverages, and soon to have a BBQ!!!
We started at Prince of Wales Bay ended up at the Bridge Water Bridge then back to Prince Of Wales Bay. During this boat ride, there was wind, water spray, petrol fumes and somewhat understood conversation. Present were, Mum, Dad, Anthony, Jackie, Jim Adrian and Myself. A pleasent afternoon on the water.
Headed back to mums for warm beverages and film watching, though I had gained a nasty headache from inhaling the petrol fumes from the outboard motor, so Adrian and I bailed at 4ish so that I could sleep off set headache, and returing at 5.30 for dinner.
Dinner, Roast Cow, vegies and such. It took all of 5 minutes for the conversation to make it into the gutter with the singing of the 'Penis Song' from Monty Python. Then the singing of 'The internet is for porn' song, the one with the WoW characters doing the singing and dancing. Normal conversation was restored, but not for long.
Over all what passes for a 'normal' dinner was had!

Saturday Night;
Leaving the parentals at 8pm we headed to Anita's house warming. Sadly the drunken naked twister did not eventuate (maybe next party) Though an interesting time was had.
Take 1 Joel, + several beers, shake and allow to simmer and have drunken conversation. Then add hip flask of southern mix with coke and continue drinking until flask is empty = a very merry Joel with no more alcohol.

5 Coronas (Adrian) and 3 1/2 baccardi mixers (me) later it was 12.30 and people wanted to head out to town, so those people headed out, and Adrian and I went home.

Sunday;
Due to a zero tollerance law laid down by the police over the Easter Weekend, Adrian was unable to drive my car back (I was unable to, as I am on my P's and can not contain any alcohol in my system) So Sunday morning went back to Anita's to collect Nova (dirty hussy, soending the night away from home like that)
Then it was off to Collinsvale to catch up with Adrian's family. There was packing (for Adrian's move to sydney in a month) and WoW conversations.
I bailed around noon, had to check on Picard and do a few other things. Ended up takin a nap!! waking up in time to make it back to Adrian at around 3pm.
I watched the WoW playing (which was great, as I am soon to be in the WoW playing crowed) dinner was had and WoW playing continued. Adrian, Fez and Carissa were doing a Molten Core Run (sp?). There were two headed fire puppys (kinda cute) banishing, killing, evil nasty imps it was cool. At one point almost everyone doing the run (40 ish people) died, with only one priest let to resurect people.
The run started at around 4pm and ended around 9pm, for Adrian and I anyway, Fez and Carissa continued.

Monday;
argh Adrian's last day here :(
Staying in for most of the day. :P
Ventured out for lunch and a random walk through Target.
Watch a few movies, Wolf Creek, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and a few eps of Gilmore Girls.
Adrian's flight was delayed, which was fine with us, more time together!!

Hopefully he might be able to come back down in 2 weeks for Kerryne and Robs engagment gathering, (more on that later) So the count down could be on again in another few days!!

Today;
Woke up, and got ready for work.
Went to get my manditory OMFG it's cold hot chocolate only to discover that maccas has no power. Apparently most of Moonah had lost power due to some strong winds last night and early thismorning (I never heard anything)
So I am hot chocolate less.

Today's the DAY!!

12 Hours till I can see Adrian
7 Hours till I finish work

*yawns* So sleep last night was near impossiable, too many things running through my head (all good things mind you!! *wink) managed to nod off at 4am, next thing I know the alarm is going off with some chick screaming about how she wants someone or something (I believe it was a song of some description) and it's 6am, nothing like 2 hours of sleep to get you refreshed for a new day at work!!
The stupid chick on the radio would not shut up, so it was prolly time to get up. After using up all the hot water I figured it was time to get outta the shower!! A freezing shower on a 5 degree morning was/is not my idea of fun.
Then I started the mad dash to clean my house, do the final load of washing, so that I dont have to waste presious time this weekend doing housy cleaning crap.
Picard woke up after I hang out the washing so she gots cuddles and kisses while I dressed for work. Then it was out the door and off to work.
Now the amasing this is, I woke up at 6 - did 2 loads of washing, cleaned the bathroom, vaccumed, sorted out Picard, Dressed for work, and left at 7.30. Yes people I did all of that in an hour and a half!!!

Then I was driving to work, and the police had the street blocked off (not sure why, though living in Glenorchy, anything is possiable!!) so I had to take the long way to work, yet I still managed to arrive at work at the same time as if I had gone the short way. ODD

This day cant go any slower can it?

SQUEEEE just gotta make it through tomorrow, then 4 marvellous days of nothing but Adrian!!

Belly Dancing tonight with Joey should help with the distraction so that I dont go anymore stir crazy waiting for 10pm tomorrow night to arrive!!

Brought Twister today, so hopefully there shall be many a game of naked twister at nita's house warming on saturday night. Seeing as how when we played strip poker at my place last time, and Joel was the ONLY one that came anywhere near being naked, we shall ban him from playing twister, unless there is no chance of the removal of clothing.
Also got the merry making booze!! not all of it is for me *all knowing smile*

2 Days, so many hours and how ever many minutes to go!

Got to thinkin today, going to book in for my next tattoo next week. I had thought about waiting a while longer, *shrugs* why wait the sooner I get this one, the sooner I can figure out my next one!
I have 'Evil' on my left wrist and 'horny desirous of sexual activity' shall be going on my right wrist.

Bring on the Holidays

Well with only 3 days to go until Adrian gets here, I have managed to come up with lots to do to try and make the time go faster.
Monday; Work, Gym
Tuesday; Work, Night School, Gym
Wednesday; Work, Belly Dancing with Joey, Gym
Thursday, Work, then the wait for the plane to arrive, and you can bet anything that it's going to drag worse than the rest of the week.

The weekend was pretty uneventful, lets see, went to the gym, saturday and sunday, started to watch season 6 of charmed, season 5 of Gilmore Girls is sitting on the coffee table waiting until I have finished charmed (only 1 disk to go)
Also watched History of Violence - Frekin awsome, really liked it. Scary Movie 2 was on the tv and I watched that outta the need for pure stupidity, I gotta say, not too bad, funny. The talking parrot was a hoot, I laughed so much I thought that my squiggley spooge was going to fall out!! that and my spleen!! (Invader Zim reference, for all you people who are going WTF right now!) And if you dont know who/what Invader Zim is -http://www.nick.com/all_nick/tv_supersites/zim/

Talked to Adrian on line, and Joel, went to a few open homes, took a trip to the parentals, and thats my weekend in a nut shell!

Good God its Friday

6 Days to wait

DAMN it's been cold the past few days. Glad I got the car, and I dont have to walk in the wind and rain anymore!! Supposed to be a shitty weekend weather wise. Think I'll hit the gym and sleep most of the weekend.

So glad that it is Friday.

During my two week absence from work, the doctors moved in full time. So now I have the joy of putting up with teenage parents who can not/will not control/discipline their kids and let them run into my office and up and down the hallway. I have since put up a sigh that says keep your fucking kids under control or go somewhere else (though it is in much nicer non mel, parent friendly words so that I don;t get sued for teachin the kiddies naughty mel type words!!) Now dont get me wrong I like kids, but there is only so much screaming and tanty throwing (that is not mine) that I can handel!!
Then there are the people that smell like ashtrays and have really bad BO (shudder) Seriously people 4 bucks will get you that nice pretty, smelly spray stuff FUCKING BUY SOME. Oh wait here's a though even take a shower more than once a month. (Cynical aren't I)

Then there are those days that you have the really nice people, (wish there were more days like that)

The docs also took over everything, my space included.

Story goes like this;
Got to work after attending REIT Training to find my stuff moved and gone, thrown on the floor. This pissed me off to no end. I chucked the BIGGEST tanty ever, now people who know me well are aware of my tanty throwing, but people you have NEVER seen a tanty like this.
It could've won me an emmy/grammy or some type of award!

I am looking forward to easter and it can't get here fast enough. Reasons for wanting easter here faster; 1) Adrian will be here Thursday, and much needed huggin, and indoor and outdoor activities will be had/done. 2) TIME OFF WORK!! 3) Anita's House warming, lots and lots of alcohol comsumption will be had by me. I will need to be poured in to a car and driven home. People you have been WARNED!! 4) did I mention that Adrian will be here!! 5) I have new seasons of Gilmore Girls and Charmed to watch. 6) Will be cooking for Adrian - yes people I cook, just not for myself. (damn good at it to!!)

Jimmy Wimmy - W00T!

W00T I PASSED

Well I have been busy the past two weeks undergoing my REIT Training Course for my Real Estate Sales Consultant Licence (now thats a mouthful!!) Lots of study was required, sacrifices made (no drinking for two weekends in a row)
But all that payed off and I passed the final exam with an 81.5% the minimum pass rate was 80% I just made it. I just have to send the 'pass papers' to the Auctioneers' and Real Estate Agents' Council, they have the final say as to who gets issued a Licence and who does not, then I am on my way to selling stuffs!

It was anita' s Birthday on sunday HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETY!!
I took a break from study to meet with her and others in a celebratory dinner at the Club Hotel. Before that others went roller skating, but due to a very dodgy ankle, the fact that I cant skate and the study I took a rain check on that, and opted for dinner only. It was an enjoyable meal and it was good to catch up with people that I have not been able to see for awhile.

Adrian is down next thursday for the Easter break, and I cant wait.
There is a tone of stuff to do, Anita and Dave's house warming party (they recently move to bigger and better living arrangements) There is dinner at the parentals, my sister, my future brother inlaw, my brother and my future sister in law should be there as well, the whole frickin family, should be errr fun!!

I am also looking into buying a house!! Yes I want a mortgage! it's better than paying dead money into renting. and when I move so that I am closer to Adrian (yes I will be moving to sydney at some point) i'll rent it out, and the rental income will pay off the mortgage

I think that has about caught you all up in the life of mel for the past two weeks.
